From what time is the room available on the day of arrival?
And at what time should the room be vacated on the day of departure?

Rooms for arriving guests are available frpm 2pm. On the day of departure the room must be vacated by 11am.
A secure luggage room is available to all guests arriving before check-in time or who want to enjoy a few more hours in Bologna after check-out.

Is breakfast included?

It depends on the terms and conditions of the reserved rate. If not included, there are 2 different breakfast solutions that can be purchased directly at the hotel, or the bar which is open all day.

Does the hotel have a bar?

On the ground floor of I Portici Hotel there is a bar with sweet and savory pastries and the best Italian caffetteria products, open from 7 am to 7 pm.
On the second floor, there is “La Terrazza” Bistrot, open from 5 pm to midnight, offering aperitifs, dinner and after-dinner drinks.

Does the hotel have restaurant services?

The Hotel offers various gastronomic proposals. I Portici Restaurant, a Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant; Osteria Portici, that proposes a traditional Emilian menu in a contemporary location; Bottega Portici, “casual food” that offers the specialties of fresh Emilian pasta dishes with an innovative and eco-sustainable format. And during the summer season, the best pizza in the centre of Bologna can be enjoyed in our Pizzeria Portici.

Does the hotel have rooms for disabled guests?

We invite you to request this type of room at the time of booking.

Does the Hotel have a Concierge service?

The concierge service is available to help you plan your stay and make your experience in Bologna perfect: general information, reservations for museums, restaurants, theaters, car rentals with or without driver, bike rental, etc. are all services that we can provide based on the request of our guests.

Is there a safe in the room?

A safe is provided in all rooms.

Does the hotel have a laundry service?

The laundry cleaning service is available from Monday to Friday (except holidays). Clothing to be washed should be delivered by 9am to the Reception and is returned after 6pm on the same day. In the case of special requests, our staff are always ready to meet your needs.

Does the hotel have an internet connection?
I Portici has a free WiFi connection in all areas of the hotel, including the rooms.

Do the rooms have air conditioning?
All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning.

Does the hotel have a car park?
The hotel has a private car park at a cost of € 25 per night, subject to availability.
If all the spaces are occupied, the hotel has an agreement with a guarded car park just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Can I reach the hotel by car?
The hotel is located in the center of Bologna but just outside the Limited Traffic Zone. It is therefore possible to arrive by car directly in front of the hotel where we have a parking area for loading and unloading luggage.

Are pets allowed?
Small-sized pets are welcome with a small supplement charge per pet, per night.
Pets are not allowed in the restaurant areas.

Where can I find an adapter?

All rooms have a universal electrical socket. For further information and requests, our staff will be happy to help you find a solution.

Where is the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is Bologna Centrale Station, a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Where is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Guglielmo Marconi Airport of Bologna, from which it is possible to reach the hotel in about 15 minutes by car.

Are there smoking rooms?

The hotel common areas and rooms are all non-smoking areas, as required by Italian legislation.
You can stop for a cigarette break in the Terrace on the second floor or under the Portico at the hotel entrance.
