HOW TO REACH US

In the historic center of Bologna, a few minutes from the central train station and just outside the Limited Traffic Zone, I Portici Hotel is easily accessible and convenient by any means of transport, without giving up the proximity to the city’s main monuments.

FOR THOSE COMING BY CAR

For those arriving by car or taxi, we remind our costumers that starting July 15, the entrence to the Hotel will be from via Indipendenza 71 (Bologna).

By car from Tangenziale

Proceed towards exit 7-7bis and take Via Stalingrado (junction for Bologna Centro). At the end of the road, turn right onto Viale Angelo Masini and then left onto Via Capo di Lucca. Take a slight right at Via del Pallone and, at the end of the road, turn right onto Via Irnerio, passing through Piazza VIII Agosto. At the traffic light, turn right onto Via dell’Indipendenza. About 300 metres down there is the entrance to I Portici Hotel Bologna.

BY CAR FROM MARCONI AIRPORT OF BOLOGNA

Proceed west and continue straight on Via del Triumvirato. Take the 2nd exit on the roundabout onto Via del Triumvirato junction continuing to the Rotonda Aristide Faccioli and take the 4th exit leading onto the Tangenziale. Proceed towards exit 7-7 bis and take Via Stalingrado (junction for Bologna Centro). At the end of the road, turn right onto Viale Angelo Masini and then left onto Via Capo di Lucca. Take a slight right at Via del Pallone and, at the end of the road, turn right onto Via Irnerio, passing through Piazza VIII Agosto. At the traffic light, turn right onto Via dell’Indipendenza. ON FOOT FROM TRAIN STATION

Exit the station at Piazzale delle Medaglie d’Oro, cross the square and cross Viale Pietro Pietramellara, turn left. Continue along Viale Pietramellara and turn right onto Piazza XX Settembre. Cross Piazza XX Settembre and turn right onto Via Dell’Indipendenza. Walk about 200 metres up Via dell’Indipendenza and you will find the hotel on the left.
