Experience the pleasure of running in the city centre away from chaos, taking advantage of preferential access for a run in the green of the Montagnola Park. This park is one of the oldest and most central green areas of the city of Bologna, opened for the first time in the seventeenth century. It is located north of the old town center of the city, adjacent to the walls of the last circle and stands on the ruins of the palace built by Bertrando del Poggetto to host the pope and his court, subsequently destroyed by the people. Inside the park there is a circular pool built on the occasion of the Emilian Exhibition of 1888 containing the sculptures of animals by Diego Sarti. The park, mentioned by famous writers such as Montesquieu and Stendhal, hosts inside some impressive secular Plane trees, Lindens and Horse chestnuts.
Our exclusive jogging area, set in the green of the Montagnola park, can be reached directly from our I Portici Terrace Bar on the second floor of the hotel and can be used by all our guests.
